Description of courses:
1. - GENERAL COURSE : 20 lessons per week, 4 lessons daily from 9 am to 12.15 pm, Monday to Friday, the morning course offers a complete programme: reading, writing, listening, speaking…
2. – HALF-INTENSIVE COURSE: 25 lessons per week, 5 lessons daily from 9 am to 1.30 p. m. Monday to Friday, this French course contains additionally to the general course 5 French lessons of special training in oral communication.
3. – INTENSIVE COURSE: 30 lessons per week, 4 lessons daily from 9 am to 12.15 pm Monday to Friday, and 3 afternoons from 1. 30 pm. to 4.00 pm this French course contains additionally to the general course 10 French lessons of special training in oral communication, written expression, culture, civilisation …
Time of one lesson: 45 minutes.
These courses are divided in three groups: to prepare to DELF (A1, A2), (B1, B2) (diplôme d'études en langue française) and DALF (C1, C2) (diplôme approfondi de langue française) that are awarded by the French Ministry of Education. There is a calendar of exams during the year, for May –june session there is a registration in April.
- Beginners (A1, A2)
- Intermediate level (B1, B2)
- Advanced level (C1, C2)
- On the first day of your course you will sit an evaluation test in French: which will enable us to place you according to your ability.
- You will be delivered a Certificate of attendance at the end of your stay. This certificate states the length of the course and the proficiency attained.
- According to special wishes the number of lessons can be less than 20 or more than 25 per week.
- An offer will be made for the pricing of the stay according to the conditions and the length.
- For groups (school....) special prices will be offered.
- During the week, It is possible for some students to integrate into a group; this opportunity is offered to all students (except beginners), depending on available space. For beginners, a new session can be organised in the middle of the year provided there are enough students
- School fees are not reimbursed whatever the reason may be. Only in case of cancellation of a course for lack of a sufficient number of students will they be reimbursed.
- All series of courses that have begun are due for the whole duration signed for by the student when registering. Should the student be absent or leave before the end of the session, no money will be returned.
- When registering, each student must provide a third-party insurance certificate. It is mandatory.
- Bank charges occured on account of money transfers or foreign checks are to be at the student's expenses
- Should the stay exceed three months, the student must apply for a residence permit (carte de séjour) at the Prefecture of the Bouches-du-Rhône and produce a proof of final registration issued by the School, showing the duration of the courses applied for.
- The school will be closed during the Christmas vacations.
